Detchen

Hi! I am Detchen. I am half French and half Tibetan. I was born and raised in France. I grew up in a very multicultural environment, speaking French, Tibetan and English. My hobby has always been learning languages (currently learning Chinese and German) and helping my foreign friends learn French.

 

I went to Law school in Paris Sorbonne University and passed the Paris Bar Exam. As I was practising law, I kept learning languages and travelling whenever I could. In particular, I travelled often to Himalayan regions and spent long periods of time in Canada, Tibet, Taïwan and Beijing.

As I decided to embrace my love for languages and communicating with foreigners, I did a French teaching program in Paris Sorbonne University and started teaching French as a foreign language.

 

I founded Fantastic Ms French and I now have the great pleasure of teaching individual classes and duo classes, together with my friend and colleague Catherine.
